Actually someone did slow down..... Ty Deckard, who was leading when it happened. And because he was the one to see the yellow he did what he was supposed to, SLOWED DOWN, until he saw the green light was still on.... and because of the error, Ty ended up 3rd instead of winning the heat.
This is not the first error of this flagman. I realize he is new, but he needs a 'training' period. Several times he has had the green and yellow lights on at the same time. And I have heard comments about his displaying double checkers for a heat. I thought that was reserved for only the feature event or main event. If he is doing this to 'impress', he is only showing his inexperience.
