No one was ever was told that SCORA was changing to aluminum motors. I was with John Gurley when phone calls were made. The calls were made to get input from racers on what direction the Series should go to survive. The final decision was made to stay on track and ask for better support from the steel block racers. Well the weekend past let us know we are going in the right direction. The battle is not completly settled, but the car count was good and the racing was excellent. We are looking forward to the upcoming races. Soggy Bottom Speedway at Morgantown, Kentucky is next weekend and I will guarantee $200. minimum tow money.
