My Dads' first Indy 500 was in 1935. (I still have his ticket stub). He didn't miss a 500 until he passed away in 2004.

your profile says your from minnesota, just makeing sure you had actually been to the race. I think they have done pretty well with tradition, but then again my first 500 was in 94. only missed 1 since.
