I did build a newer motor, it cost some to have the adapters etc made but the end result should be worth it. I had the tranny cut off of mine as well, like bob I still have a starter but can onle be used out of gear. I only wish I still a car to put it in. The mtqrl has made us consider buying another TQ, we went modified racing for many of the reasons already stated Money and BS of the umra. No need to beat that dead horse though. I applaud the mtqrl for their efforts, they have brought alot to the table in terms of sponsorship etc. That has been missing in the midget circles. If things don't suceed I feel they have went above and beyond but it may not pan out. We may attend some races this year in someone else's car time will tell.
