There was an American flag behind the grandstand. It wasn’t that big and was easily missed from where I was in the infield. It would have been impossible to see from the grandstands, but was present...

Just got home from the action track. Crowd was indeed very sparse. I’d guess it at 200-300 people unfortunately. I was happy to see Jacob Allen get a win.

Chet himself said he would not be returning to announce USAC races any longer. I heard this on the Hoogies Garage podcast. I’d add a link if I knew how. I personally thought he was a great announcer.

[QUOTE=Kart#51;567726]I was just waiting for Gibson to say, red flag, Gravel and Macedo upside down in turn 4.
I was thinking the same thing. I’m not a fan of the way Macedo races.

I was there this past Saturday and the track was reworked/watered before the feature. The track was beginning to take rubber before the feature. I believe that the new owners are making an honest...

I agree that the rock situation is MUCH better than it was. I really hope this racetrack does well and sticks around for the long haul.

I’m very partial to Haubstadt. It’s the furthest track from me but I love going there. Very friendly place, great racing, great surface, great concessions, can’t think of a single negative. I...

Paragon Indiana 1988. Went with Joe and Joey Saldana when Joey first started racing. It was a wing show and I was 10 years old. What I remember most was, there was a bikini contest on the front...

I’m not sure how to add a link. I listen to the Dirt Tracks & Rib Racks on Spotify if that helps. There’s some good interviews on there of some of our local drivers.
