Re: Ford Focus Racing

Nice post Keith! :thumb

Up here in New England we would like everyone to know that the NEMA Lite series is alive and well. We are hoping for bigger things for this year with additional sponsorship...

Re: Hello Honda

Isn't this the same engine that some guys have been running (and winning with) in BCRA on the West Coast? Also, Skeet Bushor from PBH Indy ( pbhindy.com ) has been developing one, and running in...

Re: Steve Lewis

If you want to get to the top of the open wheel ranks these days, midgets aren't exactly the best place to go. What kind of IRL team cares about a midget driver if they can't bring money or can't...

Looking for a picture

Does anyone know where I can find a picture of Doug Kalitta's USAC National Midget from 1996 that he ran in the pavement events? Thanks!

Re: Anderson 400 Midget Classic Results

Attention Don Moore:

You could have thrown some old pavement tires on your car, and have your driver do a start and park. You would have made money on this deal as 22nd place paid $1200.

In...

Re: USAC Silver Crown Returns to Terre Haute on July 23rd

Word has it that Bobby Santos III will be running the Seymour 29 at ORP on Thursday. :checkered:

Re: USAC Sanctions Little 500 and Midget 400 at Anderson.

Would this mean that USAC rules are used even though it doesn't award points?

Re: midget engines?

Upon closer inspection, you are right. The valve cover blocks out the closest spark plug hole.

Re: USAC Silver Crown News !!

Wow, so the rumors were true. Definitely a bold move by USAC. Hopefully the owners of the old cars, and us fans will show support for this. I would love to see some more pavement dates for 08'. New...

Re: midget engines?

Whatever is in that bottom picture looks like a V6 to me. Only had 3 spark plugs and 3 exhaust ports on the side we can see. Not sure what kind of engine that is?

I did do a google search for "V8...

Re: 1993 Copper World Classic

Apparently it wanted to show the videos directly. I don't know how to fix that so my idea would be to go to YouTube and type in "1993 Copper World" to see them. :headbang

1993 Copper World Classic

Here are a few cool videos I cam across on YouTube. They show the Supermodified and Silver Crown portions of the CWC from 93. There are multiple segments of each so be sure so watch them all.

Re: TV of Orlando Races?

That's the Turkey Night Grand Prix, not the Orlando races.

I heard the info on the PRI races will be released "soon" whatever that may mean. Last year I don't think they were televised until April...

Re: National Midget Forum ideas?

A start to lowering the insane costs of midget racing today would be to put a limit, or a total ban on titanium in the engine. It would definitely help out with the costs of engines, but on the...

Re: Midget 400

If that's the case it may make the most sense to bring a Focus car. The fast time at the Focus nationals was faster than some of the cars at the national midget race there in September. Many of the...

Re: What's The Best Game

World of Outlaws 2002 is my favorite PS2 game there is. I have rFactor and the Bandit sprints from 321, but it isn't so easy to pick up and run with. Another dirt mod that has been occupying some of...

I grew up watching the supers at Star, and they never get old. They are simply amazing. There isn't much in racing like standing in the infield at Oswego and watching them fly around that joint. I...

Re: carburated crate motor sprints?

Sounds like a good idea on paper, but I can see a few problems. First of all, wasn't there a similar concept for the Ford Focus midgets? The main difference (among many others) here would be that you...
