This all stems from a race that happened September 14, 2024. It doesn't take any other series that long to straighten things out when there's a situation like this.
I'd even speculate that Bourke...

The Waite was at LaSalle in 2016 and 17 at least.
I was there in 2016. That's the only time I've ever been there, but I thought the place was packed.

Are the MARA races at Coles County co-sanctioned with POWRi IMRA?

What is Tim Engler's Midget engine?
He calls it a Ford. Is it Coyote-headed?

Except they're not Sprint Cars, 2" x 4" framerails. 90" wheelbase, engine 44.5" out. I don't know the area's history, but I'd guess they're an evolution of an old Supermodified class. Common chassis...

Yeah, if anyone can find a picture of a KKM car with a fifth shock I'd like to see it.

You listen to DIRTTRACKR?
He said, "Everything's a conspiracy when you don't know how anything works,"
That may be the funniest, most accurate thing I've ever heard on a racing podcast.

Nope scroll down, it's in the Sprint Car and Midget rules as well.
That was my first thought too, that it was a pavement thing.

It's a pretty rare guy who can just show up at the track and be of much real use. Normally that guy's a crew chief type or a shock specialist. Teams are looking for him, not him looking for a team.

Props to that promoter for seeing a need and for doing what he can to help out. It's not like it used to be. Most guys are lucky if they have one truly dedicated crew guy. Walk through the pits and...

That's decent.
The second biggest shortage in racing right now is help.

Easy, overall the guy's done a lot of good.
They should have hired someone from a message board if they wanted perfection.

No he used Simple Green then wrapped the tire because he knows exactly what it does. That's Tire Prep 101.
I'm not even mad at the guy, but it is what it is.

I'm a fan of the UMSS. It's about as close to a true working man's Sprint Car series as you're ever going to get.

I mean tell me if I'm wrong, but didn't every dirt race last year have cars that DNQ'd?
Actually, I feel like the press releases said more than one race last year had it's biggest field in twenty...
