Re: Jake Boxell at circle city

Thanks for the post, and thanks Bob for the video! Gotta admit Jake was daring and had no fear running that top cushion. It paid off!

Kudos to "the few of us that were left". It was a great...

Re: Accessible!

Same feeling here. Finally, IOW magically came back to life. YAY! Ironically, a few days IOW and 4M were both down the same days. As I stated earlier, if IOW needs some donations for software...

Re: Ads

Is it just me, or has the IOW site again slowed down to a crawl? Takes so long to open the site, open a thread and then wait to read it. SLOWWWWWW

Re: Sheldon Haudenschild Fined, Placed on Probation

Here's a quick article from DIRTTRACKR explaining the penalty, with a few photos.

Re: Racing Sunday August 31st

You forgot to list Super Trucks. That makes seven divisions racing Sunday night. Sigh.

Re: Flo?

Ah...I remember the great off season FLO debate, how it was hurting tracks. Is it hurting Kokomo? Asking for a friend.

Re: Illinois State Fair Race Time!

For those that went to the Springfield mile, how was the attendance? Was the crowd good? Hope so. Track Enterprises has tried hard for years to make this race a success. Who knows who the...

Re: Terre Haute Sound System Go Fund Me.

Looking at the Th Go Fund Me page tonight, Monday night, $655 has been donated by 10 donations. I think we can see how this experiment is working.

Re: Do food and facilities matter to you?

DeadHorse is exactly right. Family is most important! People on this board are older die-hard race fans. Most of us will give the facility a pass. We're concerned about the track and racing.

Re: Terre Haute Sound System Go Fund Me.

Great point. One of the best things about going to Eldora is listening to their FM frequency and announcers calling the races.

Re: Terre Haute Sound System Go Fund Me.

I'll admit I've been a complainer about the TH sound system for the last few years. Sitting off turn 4 in the open bleachers I'm not even sure those speakers worked. I'll agree with Charles -...

Re: Grant

I agree with post from Kinser. I saw a personal video on X showing the start of that wreck and I didn't see Moles tap Grant. Looked like his right front caught that big berm and launched. I'd be...

Re: $65 for a reserved seat at IMS

I'm amazed the amount of complaining and crying about this race. Ticket price, yeah expensive. $40 GA, I'll live. Parking price, I'll skip a lunch or two. I brought in my own drinks and food. ...

Re: $65 for a reserved seat at IMS

Sorry. Unless you were there, it's hard to say "such a better race". Watching on FLO you couldn't see the side by side, wheel banging, slide jobs.

Re: What are your thoughts on the USAC show at IMS?

Well worth the money! Racing was wheel to wheel. One caution in the first five heat races. Grant and Seavy side by side down the backstretch was hair standing up. BC39 and sprint week on the...

Re: It’s Here, ISW25

55,

The first 10 rows are GA, but only in certain sections. Here is what I copied off the IMS website:

General Admission is first come, first served in Sections 10-12, Rows B-K.

For your...

Re: Rich Vogler

Thanks for the reminder. What an intense racer. Sadly, we never got to see his full potential. Even after all his amazing wins, there were plenty more coming. RIP racer.

Re: Eldora carnage.

Drove over Wed to see night one of High Limit. My reasoning was seeing the High Limit inversion of 6, 7 or 8, plus their fan friendly HL interviews Tony LaPorta provides. Larson was fast...

Re: Welp La Salle speedway is already under attack

I'm all for LaSalle making this remarkable comeback of a track and an event center. It's one of the brightest racing stories of 2025, especially the FLO opening night. Congrats to them and the...

I'm just curious, what was the "lots of disappointment last night", Saturday night? I see no other comments referring to this. Nor do I see any on Facebook. I was there Friday night. Feature...

Re: IMS = Wow!

Definitely a race of the year candidate. Slide jobs, 3 wide, multiple grooves, literally no dust, big car count, great finish....what more could a race fan want. Can't wait for Wed night's BC 39.

This website has slowed to a crawl. SLOWWWW. Sometimes the site won't even open. Not my computer, it's new. Hope someone can do some maintenance on it.
