USAC SpeeD2 Midgets at Kokomo this Friday
 

The USAC SpeeD2 Midwest Thunder Midget Series is competing at Kokomo Speedway this Friday, June 30th as the support class for the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car race. All D2 legal automotive and motorcycle-powered midgets are welcome to participate. USAC membership is not required. A large crowd is expected as this is being advertised as Tony Stewart’s only appearance in a winged sprint car in Indiana in 2017. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate how non-wing, production-based grassroots midget racing can put on a great show for the fans and for area track promoters.

Pit Gates open at 3:00 EST
Hot laps at 6:00
Pit passes $35 (General admission $25)
No entry fee

Rules are available at http://www.midwestthundermidgets.com/rules/. USAC MTM has partnered with Jerry Tague of the American Mini Sprint Association who will conduct tech inspections of motorcycle-powered cars.

Total Purse of $3060, with $500 to win and $100 for 10th – 20th.

Told my driver next time he needs to get married...make sure it's not during RACE SEASON!!! Dang it gonna miss this show...would have had a chance to run D-2 at 3 races this weekend....Enjoy D-2 racers....SUPPORT THESE RACES....this is what will make our series grow...I know ..I know...lame excuse cause I have to attend the wedding....hopefully it will be his only one:22:
