UAW Kenyon Midgets point battle tightens up heading to Anderson
(Lebanon, IN) When the UAW American Made Mel Kenyon Midget Series return to Anderson Speedway, the driver’s point battle is tightening up. Clayton Gaines win on the high banked dirt at Limaland Motorsports Park jumped him to third, with Dameron Taylor holding on to the top spot.
Four of the top four drivers in the point standings have reached the winner’s circle at Anderson Speedway, Taylor, Gaines, Trey Osborne and Logan Huggler. Osborne is the most recent winner, taking the checkers in the rain shorted Don and Mel Kenyon Classic on May 26.
Ryan Huggler is sitting in second place on the points chart on the basis of a string of top five finishes to date in the 2017 season.
Anderson Speedway routinely showcases close racing with the UAW American Made Mel Kenyon Midget Series races decided on the last lap.
