Glad to hear the sprint officials being sensible with their rule updates, the guys running DLM with WoO/Lucas get NO grace period and some genius decided putting bolts on the wheel covers was the way to go instead of Dzus. Thank you ASCS for being reasonable instead of knee jerk reactionary. :8:

How many wheel covers have flown off lately? I'd sure think it is "safer" to have easier access to give the lug not one last check or monitor air PIS without xtra steps...(it is not legal to do this electronically any type of way yet in short track racing is it?)

What did I miss? What's the reason behind adding more fasteners to a wheel cover? How much does it really take to hold those few ounces of carbon fiber on anyway??
