Race of Champions at Funfest
 
Race Of Champions at Funfest/Lawrenceburg Speedway Oct. 9-12

For the first time in the 13 year history of the big Funfest weekend, 3 race of champions for the state will be crowned. This years 3 divisions will be non-winged sprints, late models and modifieds. 2 cars will represent each speedway as they will compete for the titles. The sprint race winner will receive $1000 sponsored by Sprint Mart and Hoosier Auto Racing Fan Club (HARF) and a jacket from Hoosier Tire. The Late model race is sponsored by Rocket Chassis, and the modified race is sponsored by Hoosier Tire. The events start Saturday October 11th at 4:00pm, with racing in all divisions for the Saturday night specials including 14 divisions of racing action. Track Champions eligable:
Sprints:First and second in points, alternates will be added from each track if driver can't make the show. Tracks:Lawrenceburg, Gas City, Putnamville, Bloomington, Paragon, MSCS(Haubstat) Kokomo.
Late Models: First and second in points, alternates will be added from each track if driver can't make the show. Tracks:Moler, Brownstown,Florence, Union County Speedway, Kamp
Modifieds:First and second in points, alternates will be added from each track if driver can't make the show. Tracks:Lawrenceburg, Moler, Florence,Union County, Salem, Gas City, Bloomington, Putnamville, Brownstown

HARF besides co-sponsoring the Race of Champions will have a HARF Silent Auction as well. Bob Black & Vicki and HARF Memrs will have many items and you can also join HARF as well. HARF's Auction at "The Burg" is for HARF new injured drivers fund starting in 2009.
Join HARF and you get club meetings, Monte Carlo nite, Banquet AND HARF nites at the races with discounts to members. You get more than you pay for if you join.
