JT Its been several years ago Knoxville had a 2 day USAC race with another track running them also. They had a great car count, despite none of the winged guys taking off their wings and I thought a really good crowd of fans, round 5 thousand . But in a grandstand that size 5 thousand people is a drop in the bucket and I was told that's why non wings have been invited back :8:

Not trying to stir too many pots here, as Iowa fans love their racing but when I've visited Iowa they've believed that the Silver Crown cars were non-wing sprinters. Some also thought USAC was a Winged sanctioning body. The weekly shows at Knoxville get decent crowds in comparison to the grandstand size, but not enough to warrant an Indiana based series for a regular show.

Now....would I travel there to Crown, Sprints and Midgets together during the 1-2-3 day show? Absolutely

No NSL? Did I miss it?

I doubt the NSL has come up with a schedule yet. Knoxville is the staple venue of that series so I'm sure once their schedule is released you will see it on there.
