Indiana Open Wheel - ILLINI/MIDWEST Midgets Grundy Saturday

The ILLINI/Midwest Midget Series will be making its third appearance this Saturday at the 1/3 mile semi banked paved oval this Saturday night as a part of the Bettenhausen Classic 100 lap late model race featuring late model drivers from all over the midwest. This event will offer us the chance to race in front of another near capacity crowd at Grundy County Speedway. Labor day weekend saw some great racing and a field of 16 cars on just our 2nd and 3rd races of this short 6 race first season that started in mid August at the Kalamazoo Speedway. We are anticipating another solid car count his weekend as the interest in teams and drivers wanting to join the series is growing daily.
