Vandalism

I have been involved in sprint car as a crew member for 25 years or so. In all of that time I have never had an issue parking at the track other than an occasional elbows up to get in line. Tonight, I came out to my car after the races to find someone had keyed my hood. This is the first time that I got to take my son in the pits at Eldora since he finally cleared the minimum age limit. We had a great night just kicking around the pits and he got to see the races from a completely different perspective. Then to come to find my hood keyed deep enough to require a re-spray just leaves me feeling disgusted. I have no clue how a person can get their jollies out of destroying someone else's property. May bad karma bite them in the tail end soon. Thank for letting me rant a bit.

P.S. If someone says it wasn't a real sprint race 'cause of the wing be forewarned I just might smack 'em with a wet fish...j/k :D

sorry about the hood, but it might not have happened had you been at a real sprintcar race.

My family camps there for ump nationals every fall, and we have had items stolen. We have seen a knock down, drag out on family night between trashed guys in the middle of fireworks when there were kids all around. My husband and I make sure we lock everything up tight, and leave nothing sitting in our seats in the stands; Eldora is the only track I feel I have to do this at.

Sorry about your car getting keyed. The same thing happened to a friends new truck while he was at the WoO show there recently. I'm not sure why some people feel inclined to tear things up that don't belong to them.

It's Indiana Sprint Week and you're on IOW. Expect to get razzed for going to a winged race instead.

And on a related note, does BC get a pass for ditching ISW and going to Eldora? Saw a lot of BC shirts at Bloomington and a lot of disappointed fans.

He needs a pass to skip shows paying 5k to win for races paying 10,12 and 50k? It pays more to start the race tonight than it does to finish 2nd at a usac race.

After all the friendlyness and hospitality at the Waynesfield, Burg, LPS and Bloomington, Even with a parking lot nightmare trying to get out last night, It was cordial and patient.

I have to agree with this post, So much so, Im just going to PPV the Kings Royal. But wish I could Tri State, Even the NW PPV's are more friendly :5:
