Spartan Sprints

I was at the opening race for the Non Wing Sprints at the Speedway last night, only 8 cars, people say it doesn't pay enough:17:. But people will tow to Florida and California? How much does that pay?:15: I had a fun time work'n w/ a racer who was there alone.:32: He runs on used tires but having fun, face it no NASCAR owners gonna call you on Mon asking you to drive for him:deadhorse:

Spartan Speedway he refers to is in Lansing, Michigan area. 1/4 mile paved track runs non-wing open sprints about bi-weekly. Usually draws around 15 or so sprints the weeks they run.

I take US 127 south from 69 (North of Lansing) past I 96 to next exit Holt Rd, turn right go to College Rd turn left & takes you right to the track, nice place, Jul 1st I believe is their next NW Sprint race:6:
