Never forget and a Big big thank you to our troups
7 years ago I was shocked as many were as terrorist hit our country and a lot of innocent people were killed. I won't go into any more of that but they hit us several times before that and even WTC the first time. Let our guard down and it will happen again.
The big thank you is to all our men and women who ever served to allow us to do the things we take for granted. Not just this war but all wars and peace time. Thank you! |

My sentiments exactly. In the days and months following that tragedy, the American flag flew proudly in every neighborhood. Patriotism was at an all time high. Today unfortunately, it seems so many have forgotten just what happened to the USA that day. We can never let our guard down or it certainly will happen again. Here is a salute to the men and women around the world who are putting their life on the line so I can have the freedoms that I most certainly enjoy.:respect: Be safe and hopefully we can welcome you home soon. |

Kim and I add our "thank you!" to members of our military, past and present. We Americans must remain vigilant to the constant threat imposed by terrorists and/or nations which would do harm to us and our way of life.

My first residence in Az., I had a Sun City address, paid Peoria taxes and Surprise was at the next corner, this area was also described as the Luke Air Force Flight Path. The first ten months I lived in Arizona daily fly overs by the Boys from Luke had become the norm and I would always stop to look skyward when I heard them approaching. On September 11, 2001 having the Boys from Luke flying over head took on a hole new meaning for me, a sense of security I had never experienced before. Mike, I also echo your sentiments for our troops to stay safe and to welcome them home soon. GOD BLESS ALL OUR MILITARY MEN, WOMEN, AND THEIR FAMILIES! Patti |

As a teacher who teaches U. S. History to 5th graders, I have spent the entire morning working to get them to understand what happened to our country on that dreadful day. Thanks to our troops that I may never have to teach about this happening again. Bob Bressert

Re: Never forget and a Big big thank you to our troups
Business took me to Indianapolis today and I was quite surprised at the sights that I saw. On two different overpasses on Interstate 69, a group of men set up numerous American flags and a huge sign that read "Remember 911". It was very touching to see a renewal of this as they originally set this up after 9/11/2001. I was shocked to see so many cars and trucks slow down and honk their horns and wave to the men on the overpass. This was done also at other locations around the city.
As I sit here tonight I am so thankful for all of the men and women around the world who are working to keep this country safe and free. We all need to take some time and say a prayer for the safety of all of our military and thank them for their sacrifices of being away from family and friends preserving our freedom. Thank you one and all.:respect: |

Re: Never forget and a Big big thank you to our troups
God bless our troops, Police, Fire and the passengers of flight 93, and pentagon there are a lot of forgotten heros of this day. As I watched the replays on tv tonight it is forgotten how many gave their all to help someone else. To all the people that are against our troops fighting in Iraq and keeping the fight off AMERICAN soil think back to this day and how it touched you. Don't let these fine people die in vain. It was sad to hear on the radio today that one of family members of flight 93 say that there isn't enough money for them to build a memorial to these people. I have been to several soldiers funerals (too many) and watched protesters call them gay, gods wrath on them and so on, as their free speech granted to them by a solider ( I won't call the group by name, as this is what they want ,attention) If you react to them they sue the Police agency for not protecting them. But Americans have forgotten. Please never forget :(

I appreciate our troops all over this world, wherever they may be.:thumb
But forgive me for being a touch melancholy for the 343 fraternal Brothers I lost just doing their job at the WTC 7 years ago today. I just had a "few" in their honor...... |
