Test and tune date change
Posted: Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Due to circumstances, the test and tune for Saturday April 23rd has been postponed/moved back.

THE NEW DATE FOR TEST AND TUNE IS APRIL 30TH beginning at noon.

Opening night will now be moved back to May 7th.

Sorry for any inconveniences.

Bet that sends a few more cars to the SOD season opener at Crystal Saturday. Should be interesting with the new tires. Nice move by SOD to pay $400 to start this week to help guys cover cost of new tires.

They posted they will be paying 400 to start. Is that just for this week? I assumed it was every race. Then when I reread it, I am not sure.

They are paying $400 to start this week and my understanding is all other shows are paying $300 to start.

With a grin from ear-to-ear I would like to note that the sportsman class at Butler is now GONE.

To anyone that offends, I apologize. To everyone else in the world, would you please join me in dancing around the living room?

Test and Tune is canceled for Butler. Opening day will be May 7. They are rock raking then adding new clay to try to help out with the rock problem. This is all information posted on their website.

This hopefully is a step in the right direction as I know rocks were a major complaint with most racers last year. I'd like to see Butler continue to progress forward as it will always be my home track.
