Larry Slutter
 

Sad to report the death of Larry Slutter.

While working for Vels/Parnelli Jones Racing in the mid 70s, Larry helped develop the turbo version of the Cosworth F1 V8 engine for Indy car use. When the Cosworth became the mainstream Indycar engine, Larry headed the factory Cosworth engine shop in LA.
During my crew chief days at Indy, I was fortunate to have Slutter built Cosworths in my cars.
