Lightning sprint fuel pump?

What do you guys recommend for fuel pumps? I've got a 08 r1 with a Mallory pump on it series 140 part#4140 it's been rebuilt, it gets hot and only builds 40# pressure. Wondering if maybe I should get a different pump? Different brand? Thanks Dave

We use the Walbro GSL 392. I flush the alcohol each week and have one that is going on its fourth season. You can get these on ebay for $65 - $80, either bare or with the fittings of your choice. Do not clamp in the middle of the pump, weak spot. Either tie wrap in place or clamp lightly near the outer edges of the housing.

Mallory 60FI series. We have ran one for I guess 5 or 6 years now no problems. We run around 70 PSI. and document it with Data acquisition. http://www.amazon.com/Mallory-22257-...60&sr=1-1-fkmr

When we bought ours it was made in the USA and made by Mallory. MSD bought Mallory and I guess moved production of it to Mexico??? You also need to buy the alcohol seal kit.
