Tire Rack trailer mounting
 

How are you guys mounting your tire racks on the trailer wall? Self tapping screws into the metal wall studs or bolts going through the studs and to the outside?

Thanks for any suggestions.

We used stainless self tapping screws on ours, worked fine.

I use 4 SS carriage bolts drilled from the outside replacing factory screws, you can't tell from the outside, the heads are a little bigger but unless you are looking close you cant see it. I can send you a photo if requested. My trailer is all aluminum RNR so I did not want to risk screws pulling out.
