hill re-opening
 

I heard from a good friend who talked to a local track promoter that Red Hill was going to re-open..... I know, I know we hear this every year or so but, my buddy heard this from a very good source.

My friend was also told that Red Hill will fly the USRA banner also.

Anybody else heard any thing??

Heard it's going to be UMP and UMP ONLY.....the other sanctioning group was not even an option, and would not be even in the equation!

Route 45 just up the road in Flora is running USRA, so if they race Friday or Sunday it would give the racers two tracks close by to run each weekend.

Time will tell.

Exactly. I live in the next town over from Sumner and if I had $$ for every rumor I have heard about the track over the years, I might be able to buy it.

From what I hear. I wouldn't hold my breath. But anything can happen. It only takes cash.

Anyone heard anything new on this?

It hasn't been purchased or leased, so unless Jim does something on his own it won't be running.
