Nope I worked on a late model team for 5 years and if you go to the snowball that car had better be legal. We got penalties for 1/32 on an inch in ride height for qualifying. This is not the first time the winner has been disqualified for infractions. In my opinion this is a bad crew chief call.

Do they account for fuel burn off? It
Would seem tank location could really sway the left right split at full vs empty.

When we set up cars we always checked them with full fuel loads and empty. Most of the time that would never change the left side weight in a template car.

Sounds like the wrong driver/team won, why don't they just announce who the winner will be, before the "race", then everyone can get home early, this kinda sucks, I know, you can't be just a "little" bit pregnant, but Really! Sounds like the rules might just be a little "loaded", like Nicecar! Bob
