Indiana Open Wheel - Vintage Midget For Sale

The car is a Kurtis copy built by Hank Jefferies in the early 70's. Previous owners of the car were Doug Van Klompenburg (not sure of the spelling) and Bud Montgomery. The car has a spring front suspension, half bar rear. It has a Halibrand rearend, Hilborn injection, vertex mag, in & out box, 6-pin hubs with knock offs. It is powered by 181 cu. in. Chevy II. The car has been restored to as raced condition, (methonol and push start). It was originally built without a cage. The rollcage was added sometime in the mid 70's. The car looks and runs great. Drivers of the car that I know of were Bud Montgomery, Joe Roush and Allen Barr. I have many spares that go with the car, dirt and asphalt tires all mounted on wheels (about 30), fresh spare mag, 17 sets of gears, spare torsion bars, rings, bearings, brand new isky cam still in the box.
