South Bend possibly going dirt in 2016.

Just heard South Bend Motor Speedway (South Bend, IN) might be going to dirt in 2016?
Anyone know more about this?

God bless em, I hope they do. I hope they run sprints regularly. Always hoped shadyhill would evolve more, but they seem to be happy where they are. Always happy to have another track within an hour of the house!

Who might be paying for this? I thought the track had been for sale for quite some time. New owners? Same owners?

They have been at Hartford all year on Friday evenings learning how to run a dirt track. Heard some parts of the track are coming up and they don't have the money to repave it.
