Looking for Racesaver 305 Information
Hi all,
I have been out of the racing world for a few years now and have an itch to get back into it. I just moved back to Indiana after a short stint in South Carolina. I ran midgets in the past and do not feel like that is the best bang for my buck these days. I got to see some of the racesaver stuff down in the Carolina's when I was living there and have been to a couple of the Bloomington races as well this year. I like what I have seen from the series and am considering getting involved. At the moment I do not have the cash to go out and buy everything I need to do it on my own. If I were to try to get everything on my own I think it I will have to wait til the end of 2016 before I could have the total sum of cash for everything needed (Car, engine, trailer, shop space, tools, etc...). With all of that in mind I have a few questions for the community. 1. Are there any teams that rent rides? 2. Who is the local guy or shop to go to for 305's? (Leaders Edge, Indy Race Parts, etc...) 3. Besides Bloomington, are there any other tracks within a reasonable distance that run a consistent series? Thanks to anyone who can give me some insight. -Alfred |
Re: Looking for Racesaver 305 Information
As far as tracks running them im from just west of columbus oh and we have a few tracks south of us that are running the series as well.. It looks as if it will pick up some popularity for next season. I myself am looking to sell my mini sprint to buy a setup.. We have a few engine builders here that you can get motors from or sealed.. May wanna give french grimes a call and find one in your area.. Hope this helps a little J
