I had a chance to talk with Dave at LPS recently, super nice guy. Talked to me for a while, just like we were old friends even though it was the first time we met.

Ran into Dave a few years back, at an indoor race in Ft Wayne, we were both racing, along with a whole list of other "good guys", and yes, one hellovalikeable guy, the after race party, at the motel was something to behold, course I turned in early, but I was at the track the next morning, when all the rowdy boys came in, oh what you see, when you don't have a camera or a gun, and I'll bet there are others reading this, that participated that night, I know Stewart had a room full, but hey, that's racin, ain't it! Bob

I don't remember a pivotal moment in becoming a DD fan. I wasn't anti Tony Elliott or Stanbrough or whomever he's battled with. IT JUST HAPPENED. For all the things already mentioned and more. Think my teen would call it " #respect" ! :)

I have been a Dave Darland fan since early 90's. He is a great guy, good family man and an AWESOME driver! Good ambassador for sprint car racing. GO DAVE!!!!!!!!:)
