USAC Burg Lawrenceburg Question
 

USAC almost always runs 8 lap heats at the Burg and I've often felt it was a cop out due to track size. Yeah it's a little bigger but not much than say LPS straight length.

So Sprintweek they run ten lap heats. Im figuring it was because of car count but it was AWESOME! Especially where there were hotly contested final transfer battles going on for that extra two laps.

More racing is never wrong. Also would love to see some of the bigger races go 35-40 laps.

Anyway, No complaint really, But would a couple extra laps on less than half miles hurt?
