A thank you to Kokomo

I want to thank Kokomo Speedway and the O'Connor family. After the heats tonight, if they had liked, they could have called the show. There would be no refunds , as the show would have been more then 50% done. When you bought your tickets, it was posted right there at the ticket booth.

They stepped up and scheduled the features (finish the b, and run the A) to run Monday night. They didn't have to , but they did. Nice move by the track, to support the fans . When you go there Monday thank them. They didn't have to step up but they did.

I think everyone's perception of a "complete show" is a little off.. a promoter can't take in the front and back gate money, and keep it without making up the feature.

No, but they could reschedule it on another night and charge admission for the new nights event

Or maybe everyone's perception is right on. Didn't a promoter out east just do that?

You are simply a racer that has everything invested to do what you do. You are not someone that pays $12-$25 per event to watch your investment at work. So, what the hell would you know?
