Maybe someone here can help cause a few of us in the stands are confused. Jarrett Andretti finishes 10th in his heat and starts 4th in the B-main. Shouldn't finishing second to last put him in the C main?

I believe B and C mains are lined straight up by qualifying times.

Thank you Oppweld for the response. That makes sense but is still confusing how it basically makes your heat race unimportant if you start towards the back. I'll try to post the running order during yellows or at the conclusion.
