20 wimps missing!
First it was half miles, now 3/8 are too big for midgets. Just run weekly at the Expo and call it good!

Re: 20 wimps missing!
I wouldn't go that far but Burg technically is no bigger straights than LPS which had 44?
Its always been a little down from the other shows and last year was over 30. Sat Midget week has at times had both Badger and Powri run against it. Not sure on last night. Weather could have some to do with it. Darland was at Paragon. Thorson looked like he'd gone ten rounds with Tyson so he was out. Bell scouting his Nascar truck ride. So not all 20 are wimps and I wouldn't call anyone who straps in a wimp. I know one thing,, Having never seen Tyler Thomas in person before. Id say he's vying for a Kunz ride. Fastest guy on the track, ran out of laps. |
Big sprints are the only thing worth watching anyways

Chuck, with all do respect, Burg straights are longer than Lincoln Park, lol. Thanks.

What ever the reason, imo, it's too bad that more don't run the big tracks. Either way, just watched the highlights from the burg, and it looks like it was a hell of a race, once again proving quality usually trumps quantity!

Re: 20 wimps missing!
The ones that belonged there showed up. The ones that didn't think they could compete on that surface didn't. Everybody that was there is raving about what a GREAT race it was. Some people can find negative in ANYTHING!!
