Thanks Nathan. Sante Fe brings back great memories. Always loved sprints and midgets there. As a northwest indiana resident, almost never missed a open wheel race there. A damn shame it closed.

The orange 2 I believe is Kevin Thomas, and Tony Elliott is driving the Hazen 57, if my memory is right. Sante Fe was a cool even though I was only there one time.

I'm Also a Northwest Indiana resident (Hobart). Santa Fe was a cool joint. Seen some great races there at Santa Fe Speedway, Kankakee, & Crown Point (My home track).

This is what I always remember hearing on the radio.

"There's only one speedway, it's the track of clay. You ain't seen nothing yet till you've been to Santa Fe. Racing on a track of Clay"

Too bad crown point is gone also. Spent a lot of Saturday nights there over the years. Kankakee, I saw a lot of races there as well, some real good as Allstars races there. Sounds like they might be struggling a bit now
