Three of the famed Unser clan - Bobby, Al Sr., & Al Jr. have combined to win 9 Indy 500's and each has posted the fastest qualifying speed on one occasion. Yet, despite leading a combined 1194 laps at Indy not one of them has ever posted the fastest race lap in any Indy 500.
