Looks like 28 cars to me. Newspaper showed entries for Reutimann, Windom, Beach, Pierce, Hockett, Kuhn, Whitt, Tad Roach, Hagen, Morgan and Norris III, but they don't appear to be here.

Have fun at Springfield! It was fun last year..... except for the rain delay! It's fun trying to occupy a 13 year old and a 10 year old during downtime. Had a whole fair over there to check out and we stayed at the track. What was I thinking??? Oh yea I wasn't.

Susan,

There is a later thread. Brian Tyler won, Dave was a little over two seconds behind in second. Usacracing.com had live timing and scoring of this race.
Springfield, DuQuoin and Indianapolis fairgrounds are all one mile dirt tracks.

According to the official USAC timing and scoring Dave was 2.458 seconds behind Brian Tyler and more than 22 seconds ahead of third place.

I sure hope he can make it back in time for the final race of the TNT tour!
