I personally ,believe that hud is one of the most underrated open wheel drivers in the midwest right now , I wish he could drive for a well funded team and really showcase his talent on pavement and dirt

Patti - thanks for all your compliments and it was good to see you and chat a while at O'Reilly Raceway Park. Yes, I will be at Springfield at 7:00a.m. Saturday morning hopefully. I say hopefully 7:00a.m. because I am heading southward to Benton, Missouri for the ASCoC & MASS sprint car race on Friday nite, then heading back to Arnold, Missouri that same nite, download photos from Benton, rest a while, then head to Springfield at 5:00a.m. Saturday morning. Just something I do every year. And yes, I will be taking photos at both tracks.


randyrad - Yes that is the same Silver Crown car that Jeff Swindell drove. I have a few photos of Jeff Swindell in that car as well. My journal is pretty much dedicated to auto racing veterans and legends. But, I do and will blog any present day auto racing organization or venue, ex., POWRi, MSA supermodifieds, Oswego Speedway, etc. Auto racing photos I have thousands of, including Silver Crown Cars. If you have a driver request and I have the photo for him or her, I will gladly post it.

Your welcome Rich! I just finished going thru your journals, what memories some of the pictures brought back for me. I am anxious now to get back to Phoenix to pull out all of my old photo albums, I know there are a ton of Norm Mackereth photo's. I will let you know what I find when I get home the first part of Oct.. Have a great time at Springfield and please take a picture of Paul White for me, espically if he ends up in victory lane.
