Angell Park information

Reading with interest where Belle Claire will now be promoted by Kenny Brown of POWRi. Was he the promoter at Angell Park last year? If so, will he do it again next year?

I have said it many times, but Angell Park was the best thing that happened to me in my year in Wisconsin.

I believe it was a three year deal and this upcoming season would be the third year. Hopefully that will be extended or renewed or something after that. Things have improved from some pretty tough previous years with some really low car counts. tough to see it divert from an all midget track with the Ira coming in but I follow them to and they put on a heck of a test show last year. now I see they have four dates lined up this year.

Looks like Angel Park is stepping up to put on more sprint car races. IRA winged 410's just announced their tentative 2015 schedule and they will be at Angel Park four times on May 31, June 21, July 19, and August 23.

To me Angell Park is still the best midget track I've been to. The configuration and size is perfect for midgets. However, I did see a highlight video of the IRA show there this year, and it was awesome.

That show last year was fantastic. 4 wide off turn 2 on the last lap. I was really hoping for a World of Outlaws or NSL date this year.... maybe next year I guess

IRA at APS last year was some of the best winged sprint car racing I have ever seen. You dont usually see winged cars go side by side for laps on end
