Santa Fe Speedway (Chicago area): ordering T-Shirts/ Hoodies
For all you races fans. Former Chicago land area Late Model racer Bob Pohlman Jr. is having T-Shirts /Hoodies printed up for the drivers, crews, fans of the old Santa Fe Speedway that was located on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois in Willow Springs. Sadly the track closed in 1995. The owner and promoter was one of the best in the business. He had a minimum of 5 that needed to be ordered and that goal has been surpassed and is now up to 20 orders.
I'm posting this here because the track did run a lot of Open Wheel races including: USAC (Sprints & Late Models< 1987 videos on youtube), WOO Sprints Car, IRA Sprints, Illini Midgets, ect... for all you folks that would like one here is the link below. Makes a great Christmas Present for the fans that loved track and don't have any memorabilia for the former track. Delivery is guaranteed by December 26th 2014. Type - Price - Color(s) T-Shirts - $18.00 - Color's: Black, Light Blue, White, Orange, Denim Blue Gildan 6.1 oz Long Sleeve - $25.00 - Black Bella Women's T - $24.00 - White Gildan 8oz Heavy Blend Hoodie - $38.00 - Black http://www.teespring.com/santafespeedway - For all of you here are some GREAT Pictures of the track. Was at Santa Fe many times.==Just ordered my shirt.

I went there many times to see the WOO. They always played commercials on the Chicago radio. Probably the only track I still could remember the address at any time 9100 South Wolf Rd. I am thinking that might have been the same voice as the US 30 drag strip commercials that played on the radio in the same era.
