All suggestions welcomed
I'm interested in this new 305 class that Bloomington is going to have in 2015. My question is what is a good school to go to that has complete instruction? Is there any in Florida this winter or are the only ones in California?
I also have heard that Putnamville has a school is that right? Also I have told me that there are some indiana races that offer instruct. |

School of hard knocks.... hop in and wing it.

My father doesn't like that philosophy he thinks I need to attend a school before I spend this much money.

I would try to get ahold of Kevin Briscoe.
|
I will try that. I met him at Indiana sprint week in Bloomington this year. He seemed like a very nice guy.

Kelly Kinser might be a point of contact for you as well.

Smiley Sitton's Outlaw Driving School in Texas; they even have a dedicated 305 course.

Racing school is an excellent idea. The single best investment I ever made in racing, was attending the two day course at Cory Krusemans Driving school. You take the class in a non-wing car, but I'm sure Cory could give you all the instruction you'd need. He's very familiar with Bloomington. I did pretty well my first time in my own car, and give all the credit to Cory's teaching.
It is in California, however, Cory makes everything easy. When I went he provided all transportation and purchased all meals. It was a really great expirence. His website Kruseman.com seems to be having issues, but the direct link is https://www.kruseman.com/Default.aspx. You can reach him by phone at (805) 649-1243. |
I have been trying to get on kruseman's website but it wouldn't load. I will check into both of those places thanks.

Re: All suggestions welcomed
I'd recommend Cory's school as well; I only mentioned the Sitton school as it does have wing class emphasis. I took the Cory's intermediate course about 12 years ago and my only regret is that I didn't take one of the advanced courses.
An interesting side note is that my video of that day was shot by a fledgeling lensman by the name of Sean Buckley, a fellow I've known since he was too young to get into the pits at Ventura. |
