BRUCE BROMME JR., 62, PASSES

Bruce Bromme Jr., one of USAC's greatest sprint car chief mechanics, passed away last weekend at the age of 62 in California. Bruce crafted USAC CRA Sprint Car Championships for drivers Damion Gardner (2005) and Mike Spencer (2008-2012) during his tenure with the Ron Chaffin Motorsports team. He also fielded cars for three SCRA titles for Dean Thompson, five SCRA titles for Richard Griffin and one for Lealand McSpadden. USAC extends its sincerest sympathies to his family and many racing associates.
