Indianapolis 500

If you were to take all the previous winners of the Indy 500 and started them in a race at the Speedway, who would your top 5 be?

I would take Mears, Foyt, Vukovich, Parnelli and Louis Meyer

Would this mythical 500 be in today's modern, rear engine cars? Or would it be in old, front motored beasts? And if the combatants are going at it in roadsters, would the surface be pavement, or would our heroes be getting their teeth rattled on the bricks?

Re: Indianapolis 500

I would list my 5 drivers as Shaw. Vukovich, Foyt, Jones and Mears. But what about the rest of the great drivers over the years such as Meyer, Rose, B Unser, Unser Sr, Rutherford, Andretti, Unser Jr, Castroneves, Franchitti.
