DMA MIDGETS TARGET MAY 31 AT BRADFORD;

HOLCOMB WINS LAST-LAP THRILLER AT BEAR RIDGE

Adam Pierson will lead the USAC DMA Midgets back to Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. as the series continues its 2014 slate. He finished second to Scott Holcomb in last Saturday night’s 25-lap feature and has a 29-point lead over Anthony Nocella in the latest standings.

Holcomb, of North Granby, Conn., took the lead on the final lap of Saturday’s 25-lap race and held on to beat Pierson, Dean Christensen, Nocella and Josh Sunn.

Mike Chaffee appeared to be headed for victory until his engine expired as he took the white flag.
