what is the preferred motor amongst the many choices and why?
any advantages/ disadvantages to the Honda or Mopar?
any advantages/disadvantages to the Toyota?
what about the esslinger?

Whatever floats your boat. What is you personal favorite street car? Why is that? One usually runs a motor because they like that brand of motor.

Now if you want to start a "BULL SESSION" ask somebody at the track why they race the motor they are running in their race car. Some will go to great lengths to tell you their choice and some will answer you in a single sentence.

The best way to find out more about this stuff is get out and help a race team, the pay won't be too good, if at all, but most race teams will accept help, and if you keep your ears open you will learn a lot.

Would GI stand for "Government Issue"?
