USAC in Florida in Feb.

Anybody got a head's up on when/where they will be running? I booked a room in Daytona today for the All-Stars and Outlaws at Volusia Feb. 12-16 and definitely want to tie in USAC with this trip. What's the scuttlebutt if any? Florida track websites have been no help. New Smyrna Speedway races would be helpful, too.

I just discovered on Bubba Raceway Park's facebook page that they will be running USAC Sprints Feb. 19-22. That's news to me and maybe to you, too.

Flatrightrear is correct. Per Bubba on his show about 3 weeks ago. USAC sprints Feb 20-22 with the 19th as a practice day.

The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models have their 2014 schedule out. Along with East Bay from 2/10-2/15, they are opening up their campaign at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA, with dates of 2/6-2/8. Just North of Jacksonville, it is.

New Smyrna has dates for their annual World Series of Asphalt. They are 2/14-2/22. No specifics, just the dates. The usual cast will be on hand, I am sure, topped off by the Richie Evans Memorial for mods.

I just looked at flights. Quite reasonable. I wish I knew these three days were all the traditional sprint/midget racing there is going to be.

This is news to me too. Ocala has always raced 3 days. Wonder why they changed it to 4. I'm happier, but just wondering.

The 360 winter nationals at eastbay is an awesome race. I've been the last 3 years. Every year they've have 50+ cars.

Just three days of racing as the 19th is practice. I can't believe USAC hasn't gotten these Florida dates out yet to the general public. People gotta plan ahead to get rooms and stuff.
