Please stop reading at this point if you are offended or upset by winged sprints. If not, please read on.

For those looking to kickoff sprint week, Eldora is running the Ollies 360 Winged Sprints tonight. Stewart, Kahne and Dave Blaney are running. Also entered, according to the Eldora site, are Terry McCarl, Danny Smith, Dale Blaney, Donny Shatz, Greg Wilson and a host of others.

THe Ollies Challenge is a three race series for 360s that pays $6K to win and has a $50 K bonus for winning 2 of 3. Shatz won the first race at Blaney's SHaron Speedway. The final race is a Williams Groove in August

It seems that Tony is still not feeling well and will not be racing tonight. Wonder if JJ will strap in his place for tonight. Who knows Levi is known to run with a wing every great once in a while. Tony must have got something big to keep him down this long. Hope he is doing ok.

As of 4:40pm the Eldora website says it's still a go. Mother Nature dumped a bunch of rain but they are working the track into shape. Currently 22 sprints and 6 modifieds are pitted with the rest waiting out at pit staging.

It did rain alot and the track held up well without any additional watering. A good show with Jason Johnson winning. Donny Schatz had a chance to win an extra $50,000 if he would have won. However, after leading the first 23 laps he blew the motor and was finished.
