WOW. Lucky that didn't have a worse ending. Why the heck would a track have a dirt mound like that outside of turn 1 when there isn't a fence or wall to keep the cars from going off the track?

Looks like a really, really stupid place to have a mound of dirt! Damn! Just saying...
We're lucky that didn't come out worse than it did.
Hopefully Steve has a good full containment seat...

It looks like the mound is there to prevent cars from hitting the scoreboard supports. Not cool.
