Mini Sprint Torsion Bars

Just looking for some thoughts if i'm in the ballpark of where I need to be with bars?

*Bailey Chassis (late 90's / early 2K era)
*1000cc
*Wings
*Track: 3/8 Slight Bank, usually rough.
*I'm 180lbs ish (depending on Burrito intake).
*New SuperShox setup for application
*Frt Bars: .875 R&L
*Rear Bars: .875 (L) & .900 (R)

I have contacted chassis mfg for these #'s. While I am not dimissing their advise, I am looking for a second opinion I guess. Persons observing me run said I appear to bouncing much more than other cars.
Any thoughts?
Advance Thanks!

Bouncing as in sprung too stiff and skipping over the rough stuff, or bouncing as in compressing and rebounding the suspension? The latter may be more of a shock issue...

Not that familiar with a wing car, but it sounds like shocks, you might be a little heavy on bars, but if you have shocks that are at least close, they should stop the bouncing, if you have more bars, I'd drop .025 or .050 on the diameter, and see if that helps, even a little difference will tell you if that's the right direction, and I'm assuming you have 1" bars. the shocks control how fast or slow the suspension moves or reacts to the track. The bars solely resist movement, the shock control how fast. It sounds like you need to have your shocks checked and or try a higher compression shock valving

is track slick or tacky? your super shox setup for application is too generic.... look on the shock it should have numbers engraved on the bottom next to shaft it will tell you the valving, then post all 4 of the numbers up here it will help people lead you in the right direction..... the bar rate seems ok unless your track is super slick, but doesnt mean you dont have a bad bar unless there fairly new.... you know what i mean theres so many variables
