Past Lil 500's

My question is, what if rain again?
Run Monday? Has anybody ever known of this happening in the past?

I believe 2 years ago was the only time it wasn't run Saturday and they ran it Sunday so its hard to say.

Twice once in 1991 think something broke in the steering I.believe didn't finish very high. Then again in 97 he finished 6th I think.

The 1955, 1958, 1968, 1979, & 1982 were also run or finished the next day. 1957 race was contested July 6, 1957. 1973 race was a rain shortened race. It was called at 282 laps. Hope this answers your question.

Hewitt was in 3 Little 500's. 1991 & 1996 went out with a mechanical problem. 1997 completed 487 laps and was running at the checkered flag.
