Where to stay in Indy Friday night?

I'm curious, instead of sleeping in my car overnight so I can make the Hoosier 100 and then Saturday driving up to Anderson for the Little 500, I'd like to know where to spend the night and take a shower the next morning without having to take a second mortgage out on my house. Everywhere I call has a jacked up price for the weekend. if i have to, I'll sleep (uncomfortably) in my car....I'm not spending a 150 to 200 bucks to sleep in a bed and take a shower.

Please help with suggestions.

Yeah, but there it's full and jacked up prices too!

I would stay anywhere reasonable inbetween the fairgrounds and Anderson....I don't care where...Thanks!

You might look into Hotwire, I used it last week and got a 3 star nice room for $48.00. I even did the trip you are doing a few years ago and got $42. rooms at a Staybridge in Fishers.

Later, JERSEY

Look in Muncie and if you sleep in your car DONT do it at the fairgrounds

I use Priceline for all my trips...I'd go with Hotwire or Priceline to find a good deal

Try the Knights Inn @36th & Shadeland. Not the greatest but it is a place to sleep and get a hot shower in the a.m.Should be able to get a decent rate.Good Luck.
