Is there a new oxidizer out there that doesn't change the specific gravity of Methanol and requires that the fuel to be sent to lab for a analysis?

I think all open wheel race cars should be required to run methanol for safety and the race promoters should issue several ounces of castor to to each participant to be used as top end lube and as a popcorn fragrance for the fans.

I guarantee popcorn sales would increase at least 10%.

PM HELL!!! I'm buying some, probably "propylene oxide", great stuff just a few health concerns associated with it. If you Google it the MSDS sheets read like a horror novel. I would bet you have probably smelled it before, very distinctive odor . Yes It is for sale.

I think it carries a life time ban from NHRA if caught using it. Seems to me like there is a simple spot test for it though? www.ridgenet.net/~hideseng/index.htm

Here is some interesting reading on fuel additives and testing. I use to have one of these snow flake test kit. Worked pretty good. U could see the crap fall out of hot fuel like it was snowing.
