Montpelier Cancels March 30 Program/Midget Test and Tune
 

Snow and Cold Weather Forces Cancellation of the March 30th Season Opener at the Montpelier Motor Speedway.

A heavy spring snow fall and colder temperatures forecasted until midweek has prompted Montpelier Motor Speedway officials to cancel the Saturday, March 30 - 27th Anniversary Season Opener. The snowfall brought track and facilities preparations for the 2013 season to a screeching halt. Officials will now turn their focus to drying out the facility and spectator parking along with prepping the track for the April 5 and April 6 programs.

The Montpelier Motor Speedway will kick off its 27th Anniversary season in a big way Friday and Saturday, April 5 and April 6 with the 110th Anniversary of Racing at the Montpelier Motor Speedway featuring the Montpelier Motor Speedway Midget division, UMP Modifieds, Super Streets, Thunder Cars, and FWD Compacts.
